The last time I wrote a program using PEGTL (C++ header-only PEG parser using templates), I used actions to build my own AST, rather than using the native PEGTL AST tree builder, because I needed actions anyhow.
This time I'm trying the PEGTL tree builder. I quickly learned why you want your default selector to be false, and use explicit selector specializations with true only for the rules for which you want nodes. Otherwise you get a big mess.

Next I need to learn about using transformers. I have thick rubber gloves handy in case they are high voltage.
