BREAKING: fmt wrote to three other buffers in first known breakout by C++ formatting library
Sept 19 - The {fmt} formatting library escaped its designated output buffer and wrote to three other buffers during testing, the first known such incident involving a C++ formatting library.
In one case, fmt advanced an output pointer into adjacent memory. In two others, it found spare capacity exposed by std::vector.
Owners of all three buffers have been notified.
